Agreement
These terms govern your use of Resona: Water Eject ("the App"), published by Central Park Limited. By downloading or using the App you agree to them. The App is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies in addition to these terms.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
What the App Does, and What It Cannot Do
The App plays low-frequency tones intended to push water out of a speaker, generates tones between 0 Hz and 20 kHz, measures sound levels, tests each speaker, and can monitor room noise overnight.
- It works on water or dust trapped in a speaker grille. It cannot repair a device that is already damaged, and it is not a substitute for professional service or for your device's warranty.
- Sound level readings are indicative only. Phone microphones are not calibrated measuring instruments, and readings must not be relied on for workplace, legal, medical or safety decisions.
- The sleep monitor is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or monitor any condition, including sleep apnoea or snoring disorders. Speak to a healthcare professional about any health concern.
- Sound event labels such as "snore", "talk" or "cough" are produced automatically on your device and can be wrong.
Safe Use
Take headphones off before playing tones, and keep the volume moderate. Loud sound played close to your ears can damage your hearing. Do not use the App while driving or where it would distract you from anything requiring your attention.
Recordings
Overnight sound recording is optional, is disclosed before the first night, and can be turned off at any time. Recordings stay on your device and are deleted automatically after 30 days. You are responsible for the laws that apply where you are: in some places, recording audio that captures another person requires their consent. Only record where you are entitled to do so.
Premium Subscriptions
The App is free to use with limits and advertising. Premium removes ads and unlocks unlimited use, the weekly sleep report and clip playback. Plans and prices are shown in the App before purchase and are charged to your Apple ID.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Where a free trial or an introductory price is offered, it applies once per Apple ID and, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the subscription continues at the regular price. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies; we cannot issue them directly. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
Advertising
Users without a subscription see advertising supplied by Google AdMob. What ads collect and how you control it is described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable Use
Do not use the App for any unlawful purpose, to record anyone without the consent the law requires, or to interfere with or attempt to compromise any system.
Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, that it will remove water from any particular device, or that an overnight session will run to completion — a phone call, another app, a low battery or force-quitting the App can end it early.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Central Park Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, for damage to any device, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes and Termination
We may update the App and these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. We may discontinue the App at any time. You may stop using it at any time by deleting it.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Central Park Limited is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and without limiting any consumer rights you have under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
